Leather bound books from the 1800’s and before were quarter-bound.  That is basically an additional piece of leather wrapped around the spine of the book and covering an additional 1/4 of the front and rear covers.  We took that old traditional design and applied it to our new line of book covers.

This line is available in 12 different leather colors and when you figure you can choose one color for the cover and one for the spine… that is 144 different unique designs.  The one below is with our Molasses leather quarter-binding over the Sunflower leather cover.

A little secret… after using all of them my favorite is the Strap closure style with NO PEN LOOP.  How come?  Because I can fit my pen inside nice and snug when the strap is closed.  So I get a narrower, more compact binder WITH a place for my pen.  I prefer the 3/4 inch rings for slimness and… there is nothing I cannot do with 50 cards at my finger tips.  That is how many of our hunky firm cards will fit in the 3/4 inch rings.  But if you want more cards in the 3/4 inch rings you will have buy the cheapie thin ones.

Last month we introduced these new covers for your pocket size Moleskine notebooks.  We are now introducing a new line of covers for your large size Moleskine notebooks.

All of these covers utilize the elastic band in the rear of the notebooks and come in 7 different leather colors.  There is a pen loop inside with 3 extra pockets for storage.  We are also offering 2 styles of non closure covers, our less expensive Traditional cover (not shown and not included in this offer) with no extra pockets or pen loop and our No Closure style (not shown and IS included in this offer) with those 3 storage pockets and pen loop. Below is a pic of the new designs (the traditional style has been available for over a month now and is not showing).
